Mansions are the trophy items of any luxury RP server. Pick the right ones and you will make your top tier housing list aspirational. Pick the wrong ones and you will spend more time fixing collisions than enjoying them.
What to look for
A good mansion MLO has: clean exterior LOD, garage parking that actually works, multiple realistic rooms (not just one giant space), proper lighting baked in, and a manifest that doesn't reference a hundred missing files.
Featured picks
Without naming specific creators (catalogs change), look for mansions in these styles:
- A modern Vinewood Hills villa with infinity pool and 4-car garage.
- A classic Mediterranean estate with separated guest wing.
- A glass cliffside contemporary with floor-to-ceiling windows.
- A traditional brick mansion with formal dining and library.
- A coastal Malibu-style beach house with deck access.
- A penthouse-level building with rooftop pool — technically not a mansion but plays the same role for high-rise servers.
- A ranch-style estate with separate stables / outbuildings, for rural RP.
The performance question
Each mansion MLO is roughly 20–80MB. Five of them in a server is fine. Twenty of them noticeably slows initial join times for players on slower SSDs. Curate, don't collect.
Pairing with housing scripts
Whichever housing script you run, make sure the entry/exit coordinates of your chosen mansion match what the script expects. The number of broken-house tickets on a luxury server is almost always misconfigured housing zones, not the MLO.
Wrapping up
A handful of premium mansions, well-installed, beat a sprawling catalog of half-broken ones every time. Treat your top-tier housing the way a real estate agent treats their listings — quality, photographed, presented.
